Jane Goodall Institute: Roots & Shoots (NL)
Visual Identity & Social Media Toolkit, 2021
Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots is a worldwide network of and for young people. They organize free workshops in which the youngsters are guided in self-initiated projects that contribute to positive impact and empathy for people, animals and nature.
To effectively reach the younger target group, we designed and developed an adventurous identity and social media toolkit for Roots & Shoots. This new identity takes the youngsters deep into the jungle. Like true explorers, they can get up close to the animals from behind the illustrative foliage, to observe and learn more about them.
The toolkit consists of over 200 illustrations, frames and typographic elements that can be combined to create new, playful visuals. The style and colors of these elements provide unity and tranquility, as well as freedom and endless combinations.
